We bring gender-diverse people together in Port Angeles, Washington, for a conference that leaves room for both discovery and a good time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You might spend the morning in a class, the afternoon with new friends and the evening dressed up for a celebration. Or you might choose a quieter day, with a long conversation and a little time by the water. The week is yours to enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">You Belong Here<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Esprit <\/strong>welcomes transgender and nonbinary people, crossdressers, and people exploring their gender. You don\u2019t need a particular look, a transition plan or all the answers about who you are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crossdressers helped create Esprit and remain an important part of our community. That spirit of exploration makes room for a wider range of genders and experiences today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Partners are part of <strong>Esprit<\/strong>, too. Our <a href=\"https:\/\/espritgala.org\/index.php\/significant-others-program\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"73\">Significant Others<\/a> program offers time and attention for their experiences and relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More than a full calendar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Classes and activities give us reasons to come together. Often, it\u2019s what happens between them that people remember: someone saving you a seat, an invitation to dinner or the discovery that a person you\u2019ve just met understands exactly what you mean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s room for dressing up and celebrating, for learning something useful, and for enjoying the company of people you don\u2019t have to explain everything to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Made possible by people who care<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Esprit<\/strong>\u00a0is backed by an entire year of careful planning by a volunteer committee elected from these three organizations, supported by numerous additional volunteer task coordinators and connections throughout Port Angeles.
