Every year, Esprit is a chance to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, celebrate who we are, and discover something new about ourselves. For 2027, we wanted a theme that captures not just what Esprit is, but the possibilities that bring us together.
That’s why we chose “Wonder Awaits!”
Wonder is that feeling of possibility. It’s the excitement of trying something you’ve never done before, the joy of discovering a new friendship, and the courage to take a step toward becoming more fully yourself.
For some, Esprit is a familiar homecoming, a chance to spend a wonderful week among people who have become family. For others, it’s a first step into a world they may have only dreamed of experiencing. And for all of us, it’s an opportunity to find a little magic in the unexpected.
We chose “Wonder Awaits!” because Esprit isn’t just about where we are in our journeys. It’s about everything that might still be ahead of us.
The wonder of being seen. The wonder of belonging. The wonder of discovering that there is always more to experience, more to celebrate, and more to become.
And what better place to discover that wonder than Port Angeles, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Olympic Peninsula and the warmth of a community that welcomes you just as you are?
Whether this will be your first Esprit or your twentieth, we hope you’ll arrive with curiosity, leave with wonderful memories, and discover something that surprises and delights you along the way.
