For those staying at the Red Lion, you’ll want to first stop and register at the hotel’s registration desk. If your reservation is under a different name than your ‘preferred name’ we suggest that you leave both your registered name and your preferred name, and the hotel will check both names in the event that someone needs to reach you at the hotel. The staff at the Red Lion are well aware of the privacy needs of many attendees, and will treat your contact information with the utmost discretion.
The Esprit Registration Desk is separate from the hotel registration desk and is located in the middle of the main hotel wing in the 2nd main foyer. It is staffed by Esprit volunteers during the hours posted on the online calendar.. This is where you check-in and complete your registration for Esprit, get your photo taken for your badge, and receive your information packet. Even though you may be a bit unnerved, don’t be afraid to ask questions. The Registration Desk volunteers are eager to help you get settled and to answer any questions you may have.
The Esprit Registration Desk is the heart of Esprit and there you will find official announcements, event sign-up sheets, personal notices, an informal lost and found (don’t forget the hotel’s official lost and found), tons of flyers from local businesses advertising their services and inviting you to Esprit-only open house events and a continuous crowd of people talking and greeting each other.
Your badge is your official Esprit identification and will gain you entry to all Esprit classes, events and meals included with your registration. Each badge has a unique QR code for your registration that may be scanned for entry at certain Esprit events. Don’t forget to bring it with you at all times!!
